The first step in the design process is a thorough gathering of information so that we can determine the scope of the
project and formulate a preliminary
budget. Highlights include: fully understanding the client’s expectations for the
project; studying existing architectural drawings, field-verifying dimensions
and conditions,
and reviewing applicable
codes. We inventory and evaluate existing furnishings and equipment to expedite product specification later. |

A 4-step phase wherein the design grows from concept to specific plan. Detailed graphics, plans, and material
samples
accompany each
step so
that client
and contractor know exactly what is proposed and expected. □ Concept: Our
initial vision for the direction, or the look and “feel”, of the design. □ Space Planning: How the physical space
will be
sculpted
for specific functions, maximum utility, and harmonious flow. □ Design Development: The maturing of the design.
A refining of layout, product
details, colors, materials, and construction budgets. □ Material Selection: Every finish material
is
personally selected to ensure that it conforms
to our design specifications and the highest quality standards. |
